I would like to invite you to join in A Fitting Experience, a community project that explores how women view their bodies. The next time you buy clothes, save one paper tag that states the size of the garment you are purchasing. While looking at the tag, please reflect on one of the following questions: How do you feel about your body? What did you think to yourself about your body when you tried this garment on? Describe your body size and shape. Please record your response to the question on the tag, in any form that you choose; feel free to write, draw or alter the tag in any way. My 'ass'' has never fit into any normal sizes as I have a small waist so anyhting that fits my hips and butt does NOT fit my waist at all! It is very frustrating! So when I finally find something that fits, I generally buy more than one of it and then wear them to death! I love stretch jeans - they fit the best! I have been made fun of all my life for my rounded buns but now am envied by those who have flat, wide butts that just seem huge! My rounded buns may be plumper than most but at least they look good in 3-D! And I do get an occasional whistle every now and then!:-)
PS - both of my sons inherited my buns which is much better than their fathers flat butt! Their wives are very happy! And my younger son was voted "Best Butt" in a military uniform while in Korea and Iraq! Now that is something to be proud of! :-)
